Slender Mountain MintDensely branching with fine foliage and white flowers atop terminal clusters, this native mint is a wonderful fragrant pollinator which spreads by rhizome creating a great mass of white blooms in late summer. All parts of the plant emit a strong, mint-like aroma when crushed.Pycnanthemum tenuifolium grows in dry, open, rocky woods, dry prairies and fields, along roadsides, along streams and in open wet thickets - not really found in the mountains. It is an erect, multi-branched, native that grows 2-3' tall and features extremely narrow leaves with terminal clusters of many small, white flowers which bloom in mid to late summer. Interesting Notes:For more detailed information on this plant, see:https://www.plants.usda.gov/core/profile?symbol=PYTE
